The Moscow Government will conduct the Day of Moscow in Transnistria in
October. A Russian delegation, led by Deputy Chief of External
Economical and International Relations of the Moscow Government Andrei
Chijov, which is currently paying a visit to Tiraspol, must agree upon
all the issues of organizing these actions with Transnistria’s
representatives.
According to the Transnistrian TV, he said
that in the course of several days the plan of the actions will be
discussed with Heads of Transnistrian ministries and respective
institutions.
“The program is still being discussed. But it is
already known that we shall open these actions by a gala-concert with
the participation of the best variety masters of Moscow. We are going
to bring several theater productions, to carry out art and photo
exhibitions, presenting the most beautiful sights of our capital”,
Chijov said.
In his words, roundtables in the sphere of
science and industry, official meeting of the administrations of Moscow
and Tiraspol on the highest level will be organized.
“The actions will last for four days, but not only in Tiraspol, in other towns, as well”, Chijov said.
As
Infotag has already reported, in May 2007 the Days of Transnistria in
Moscow have been conducted in Moscow recently. They passed modestly and
unnoticed. One of the remote pavilions in the Sokolniki park in Moscow
was allocated for the Exhibition of the Transnistrian Industry’s
Achievements. Only Deputy Chief of International Relations Department
of the Moscow Government Boris Silaev and Vice-Speaker of the Russian
State Duma Serghei Babuirin, who is a faithful lobbyist of the PMR’s
interests, were present at the opening of the Days of Transnistria in
Moscow. In the frame of the Days the Transnistrian Supreme Council and
the Moscow State Duma signed a Cooperation agreement.
